VISION DIVINE Parts Ways With Singer

April 28, 2008

Italian melodic power metallers VISION DIVINE, the brainchild of ex-LABYRINTH mastermind Olaf Thrsen, have issued the following statement:

"Michele Luppi is no longer singing with VISION DIVINE.

"Beside any speculation which could be done regarding the truth behind all this, we simply believe it was the right time to both make the right choice. We wish Michele all the best with his future and we thank him for the great time we had together.

"The new singer will be announced on May 1st.

"We'd like to specify that the band will respect any scheduled activity, and nothing will be delayed.

"Thanks for your support and see you soon on stage."

VISION DIVINE last fall posted two clips on its official web site: an animated video for the song "The Daemon You Hide" (which can also be viewed below),and a "making of" documentary focusing on the band's the latest album, "The 25th Hour".

"The 25th Hour" was released on June 4, 2007 via Scarlet Records. The CD's production was once again handled by Timo Tolkki (STRATOVARIUS) and Luigi Stefanini at the New Sin Studios.
